NETWORK ANALYST (Security) - Competition #11-122
Job Summary:
Working within the Information Services and Technology Division, this position specializes in the design, configuration, testing, implementation and troubleshooting of IP data networking technologies, including routing, switching with a concentration in security hardware and software on AGLC corporate, gaming and Internet networks.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Related University degree/technical diploma (Computer Science or Engineering).
- Minimum six (6) years of progressive data communication experience.
- Cisco Professional Level Certification, Cisco Specialist Certification or equivalent, combinations of education and technical experience.
- In-Depth knowledge of Cisco IOS
- Configuration and management of Cisco Switches, Routers and ISR's
- Knowledge of the administration and configuration of the Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance as well as other Windows and Linux based applications and tools related to network security and Cisco network management (IPS, ACS, VPN, PIX).
- Knowledge of network troubleshooting tools.
- Must be able to work well under pressure.
- Demonstrated abilities in communication teamwork and problem solving.
- Must be able to serve a 7X24 on call duty rotation.
- In-depth knowledge of the following will be considered an asset:
- Cisco Software and Management appliances (LMS, NAM, DCNM, ACS, MARS).
- Nexus, Data Center.
- Network virtualization (Nexus 1000V)
