Product Manager, Switches

Description:A global leader in human machine interface devices is searching for a self motivated, high energy Product Manager to be the North America champion of company's switch products. Company manufactures one of the broadest product lines in the switch industry. Company also produces a wide range of industrial controls, joysticks, membrane switches and switch panel assemblies. Responsibilities:- Define and implement product plans and strategies for switch products. - Provide technical product support and product training to the field sales group. Assist the sales team with design-in activities at the customer site. - Champion new products. Collect and analyze data to evaluate potential products and industrial markets. Recommend new product opportunities and develop, communicate and deploy product roadmaps. - Coordinate product launches. - Coordinate pricing and product rationalization activities. - Become an expert with respect to the competition. - Develop all marketing communications to promote company's switch products. Maintain the company website ensuring fresh and accurate content. Coordinate press releases and related PR activities with PR agency. - Maintain direct contact with key customers and develop key business contacts within the industry. - Prepare quarterly reports detailing the status of accounts, applications and sales figures. Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Engineering - 5+ years of progressive sales or business development experience - Product management experience with electro/mechanical components, preferably switches - Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and energize sales personnel - Polished presentation and communication skills are essential - Position requires up to 20% travel - Must have a successful track record of developing and implementing marketing programs and prior success launching new products and solutions into the marketplace. - Strong project management skills - Strong PC skills; Excel and Power Point experience a must - US Citizen or Permanent Resident To apply for this position please put in the subject "Job ID # 1708".
