Sr. Product Design Engineer
1. . Strong product development background – 10 plus yrs
- Sheet metal, plastic part, roll forming, casting, extrusion
- Electromechanical (sensors, access control, cooling)
- Data Center knowledge
- Product design development and testing in accordance with ISTA and NEBs requirements for Product shipping and handling with Electronic Equipment
- Development of Thermal solutions for electronic equipment cabinets
- Experience with Power systems
- Experience with firmware, middleware
2. Strong innovation track record including patents
3. Cabinet (electronic equipment enclosures) experience):
4. Extensive metal
5. BSME; masters preferred

Job Duties:
1. Provide deep technical expertise for the Cabinet Solutions product engineering team.
2. Develop guidance and test methodology for development of cabinet based Thermal Products. Work closely with R&D on the development of Cabinet Level products.
3. Development of Dynamic and Seismic load rated cabinet solutions.
4. Develop Cabinet Solutions manufacturing roadmap.
5. Maintain current knowledge of competitive advantages, products/processes, market trends, and engineering technologies.
6. Provide technical expertise to upper management and cross functional groups.
7. Communicate and coordinate with cross functional groups to expedite or drive projects to completion, including: project management schedules, reports, review meetings, etc.
8. Provide research to support new product development for Cabinet Solutions Team
