Job Details

Whirlaway Corporation is a manufacturer of precision metal components and assemblies primarily for use in high end Automotive and Industrial applications (fuel systems, brake systems, safety systems, refrigeration, cam phasing, EPS etc....).

We utilize a substantial amount of automation as part of our manufacturing strategy and design and build most of it in house.

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist with a can-do attitude who is willing to jump in and do what it takes to get the job done.

Responsibilities:

   » Develops and implements recruitment programs for hourly and technical staff. Analyze trends and metrics to develop recruiting solutions.
   » Coordinates with staffing agencies for temporary employees.
   » Audits timekeeping records.
   » Applicant tracking, analysis and reporting.
   » Conducts new hire orientation programs.
   » Administers attendance program, FMLA, etc.
   » Develops and conducts safety training.
   » Consult with line management providing HR guidance when appropriate.
   » Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met.
   » Prepares reports. 
   » 10% Travel may be required
   » Weekly timekeeping.

Requirements:

   » Bachelors Degree
   » 3-5 years HR Generalist knowledge and experience preferred.
   » Experience with HRIS
   » Report writing
   » Novatime experience preferred.
   » Knowledge of OSHA regulations, Ohio Administrative Code, Workers Compensation
   » Experience with self directed work teams, lean manufacturing, developing training programs
