The Datawarehouse Architect works within the BI IT group, providing deep technical expertise in database design and hands-on ETL development. The Datawarehouse Architect designs, develops and maintains all DW components.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
-Coordinates with business unit BI analysts to understand business and reporting requirements to translate these needs into efficient data integration, extraction, and transformation processes between operational systems and the DW.
-Functions as second-tier support to business unit BI analysts, providing guidance and data analysis that is beyond their technical capability or reach. Adheres to established project implementation and development guidelines and standards.
-Dedicated to completing assigned tasks and high-quality deliverables under deadline.
-Proactively learns and applies new technologies and programming languages as required.
-Provides rotating on-call support of production systems.
-Perform any other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Requirements:-2+ years of Business Objects experience mandatory
-2+ years of experience building and maintaining a Datawarehouse for a medium to large business.
-Solid experience with Oracle database administration and performance tuning Oracle Warehouse Builder and Workflow Oracle PL/SQL ODS and star-schema data modelling In-depth knowledge of SQL concepts
-Talend Integration Suite Business Objects Enterprise Web Intelligence experience.
-2+ years of experience building and maintaining a Datawarehouse for a medium to large business.
