**** Communicating conceptual ideas and design synthesis rationale
* Developing and maintaining system-level requirements documents and use case models, working closely with the company's leadership to facilitate the development and delivery of products to fulfill system needs of initiative teams
* Full lifecycle solution development including working with the business team to articulate requirements and elaborate user stories and cases
* Storyboarding, visual modeling, creating block diagrams and writing requirements documents
* Working with user experience researchers to design and observe usability studies; translate usability and field research findings into design improvements; work with designers and engineers to create prototypes; and review detailed interaction specifications to improve and refine product design and consistency
* Conducting requirement reviews to improve the quality of the deliverables
* Using product lifecycle processes,e.g. Rational Unified Process (RUP), Agile Unified Process (AUP) and Enterprise Unified Process (EUP).
* Use SysML for modeling complex systems
* Attending industry conferences and standards bodies, and representing client as a subject matter expert at high-level customer and partner executive briefing engagements
* Responsible for Intellectual Property process for the components of the system.
* Bachelors Degree Engineering required; advanced engineering degree preferred
* Bachelors Degree Engineering required; advanced engineering degree preferred
* Minimum 7 years of experience in an R&D or product development environment
* Minimum 5 years of professional programming experience in Java and related technologies
* Experience with multi-tiered architectures (Data-Application-Presentation)
* Experience with enterprise architectures
* remote method invocations, extensive XML usage, stateless designs, load balancing, SSL security, etc.
* Experience with Database systems
* MSSQL, MySQL, DB2 will be considered a plus
